Our Story

I began playing with Photoshop when I was a young teenager. I used my talents to make mostly gag posts on social media, such as a disliked individual’s head pasted onto a donkey’s body, or placing myself in the center of New York breathing fire like Godzilla. Fast forward to 2016, we welcomed a miniature schnauzer, Ace, into the family and he quickly became a best friend. His fun and chatty personality, along with his manly mustache makes him a brilliant mascot for Pixel Pets by Aarcrafts.

Before Pixel Pets had a name, they were typically gifts I made for friends and family. I got the idea shortly after Ace joined the family, with inspiration from the Clifford the Big Red Dog series. My first project featured Ace as the main subject, with my girlfriend (now fiance) and myself riding on his back. We used a filter and had a canvas made of the photoshop, which sits in our living room to this day.

Since then, I’ve made other projects as gifts and created other physical works of art from the finished projects. It’s been crazy fun making Pixel Pets, and the finished product seems to always wow the recipients. In 2021, I started looking into how to offer this gift of mine to everyone.

I hope my store and site is easy to navigate. Please feel free to offer feedback and check out my gallery. Thank you for visiting!
